the great shoe search

I'm a firm believer that teachers (and other people who are on their feet all day) NEED comfortable shoes. Since I started teaching, the comfort factor has become far more important than the cute factor or the bargain factor. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE a good deal and like to look at least semi-cute:), but when my feet hurt, I become grumpy, and I don't like to be a grumpy teacher, wife, and friend. I've been wearing and LOVING reef flip flops since college,

and have convinced several friends and family members to buy them, but my problem has been finding something equally wonderful for the winter. I've worn several different shoes over the years, and they've been okay, but none have been quite like those reef flippies....until now...I think I may have finally found some that qualify, as equally cute, comfy, and versatile, so I wanted to recommend them (and the reef flips for anyone who's been missing out) to you! They are "Privos," by Clark. I've wanted to wear Clark's since I got married and became a Clark:) and now I do! They have several different styles. They are cute with jeans, khakis, and capris, and work well with socks or not. I got a brown pair for my birthday last spring, and now a black pair for Christmas. Then, I liked them so much I got my mom some for her birthday. I know they're not cutie, stylish heels, but I'm just too big a wimp to do that everyday! So, in case any of you mourn your flips in the winter, (and still sneak them in from time to time) but want a casual shoe that will keep your toes warm--here you go! BTW--Just in case you don't know, when shopping online, be sure to do a google seach for a coupon for your product! Take care of your feet!
