Last week we got to go to Southern California to the Bible lectures at Pepperdine.
Some of the highlights from our week in no particular order:
enjoying the beauty of God's creation
late night conversations with Keith, Bob, Lourene, and Laura
visiting with ACU ministry friends
visiting with ACU mentors and professors
lots of good food
playing in the ocean with Laura
thought provoking lectures and classes
time with aunt, uncle, and cousins
praising God through song
learning some awesome new songs from Zoe
and now for some pictures....
a day at the beach with my sweet SIL, Laura....soooo fun! it doesn't get any better than the ocean! WOW! I loved every bit of it...waves are one of my favorite parts of creation! All of the metaphors in scripture that compare God's love to the depths of the ocean came to life for me more than ever!

and here's a glimpse at what we ate....yikes that's a lot of food! but it was all soooo yummy:)

FUN! I am sad we didn't get to go. We had planned on it, but I ended up using all my days when the boys were sick this past Winter.
Looks like y'all had a lot of fun! I love that you are wearing a sweatshirt and jeans and Keith is wearing short sleeves and a shirt! Your pictures of the food look delicious! Now I am wanting a waffle with strawberries!
So fun! I am so glad you got to have a little bit of vacation! It is always around this time of year that I start thinking about wanting to go somewhere fun. Naturally, I love that you took pics of all that yummy food, and naturally, I am totally jealous that you got to go! Love you, sweet friend!

Yay! In-n-Out. Love that place! Wish we had one in Texas. Every time I go home to CA, I have to visit In-n-Out. It's the greatest!
